Moving to a New Apartment!

I'm moving to a new rental community named 'XChange at Secaucus Junction' on 31st July 2008. This is a brand new rental community right next to the Secaucus NJ Transit train station. It has quite a few tempting features like pre-installed surround sound system in living room, laundry in the apartment, a nice terrace, gym, tech lounge with large screen TV and billiards, on-site convenience store, and top of all everything in apartment is brand new :-).

Right now am busy packing all my stuff since I'm moving on a working day I wouldn't get much time on weekdays. I'm excited about the move, it saves me atleast 30mins (one way) of my everyday commute to office. I can just walk to train station. Also, I hope I would be regular to Gym this time since I don't have an excuse of not in a mood to drive to Bally's Fitness Center.

I will update my blog once I move to my new apartment.

Taare Zameen Par

2 words to describe 'Taare Zameen Par (TZP)': Simply Awesome!

No other movie has moved me as much as TZP. I had watched it couple of days back but the effects of the movie on me are still quite visible.

I was able to co-relate with the child "Ishaan" (Darsheel Safary) though I never suffered from Dyslexia but was one of the brats. I was punished (corporal) by almost all of my teachers and principals. I was more inclined towards sports and other activities except studies. I used to spend hours in my home garden watching ants, insects, playing with them, sitting on the top of guava tree for hours.

Anyways, coming back to the movie, I want to salute Aamir Khan and TZP's team for taking up such a noble cause and concept. It definitely takes guts to build this kind of movie as a mainstream cinema in Indian Film Industry (a.k.a. Bollywood). This defines a new genre of movie-making and that too for a noble cause. Aamir Khan never ever tried to overshadow the central character "Ishaan", which shows the character of Aamir as a film maker. Aamir has set a new trend in industry when others are busy making non-sense entertainer films like OSO, Welcome, etc.

I feel no shame to admit that "Yes" this movie did brought tears to my eyes. I felt quite shameful remembering the lines which I had used quite frequently when I was in India during my college days..., "chotu paani leke aaa..." "chotu chai leke aaa...", and that "Chotu" was nothing but a child labor, who instead of enjoying his childhood dreams was busy serving food. I hope child labor is abolished in India and every child is set free to live his/her dreams with tender love and care from parents and teachers. Aamir Khan as 'Ram Shankar Nikumbh' has set a new standard for all teachers and parents.

This movie is a must watch for everyone!
